What is Forecasting?

Forecasting is about aligning with the multitude of stakeholders in the organisation, in a a way that what we see into the future across the connected eco system adds value in excess of the obvious. Of course, it is also about avoiding the pitfalls when there are many players and moving pieces such that a baseline of efficiency is maintained at all times.

The problem we are solving and why

Forecasting is about the nuances of the parameters that influence the future. It is so much more than a standard model that is often followed for an area of business. It is about the outliers, the apt weightage to parameters that matter more in the particular instance, and then looking at it all together from a top down view.

How we are solving it

We take the complex techniques and models and make their outcome more comprehensible and actionable. Machine learning gets better with each instance of use, and there is no starting from the ground up for us. In other words, forecasting is about insights that are usable, and about iteratively getting better over time with more intelligent use of past data and future analytics.
